AAC blocks factory on sale
A construction company in Western India is on verge of setting up a blocks manufacturing facility for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) blocks. As they are heavily involved in construction activity, it was a move not only to control the supply of raw material, but also generate revenue out of it. They are setting up AAC blocks factory. As of now their civil work is going on and they have already ordered the equipment. Local fabrication work is also going on full swing. As per reliable sources they want to sell this factory after commissioning it. Sudden change in plan is a direct result of slowdown in construction industry. Moreover they have committed to a far bigger construction project and need to raise capital for that project. They want to raise additional capital by putting AAC blocks factory for sale.
Update: I have received many inquiries about this AAC blocks factory as readers have shown good interest in this factory. I have been contacted by comments, email and contact forms. Keeping this interest in mind, I had visited the site for this factory and found out that the work has been stopped at land development stage. I approached some of the directors involved in this factory for further discussions. During my interactions with some partners involved in this factory, they informed me that they are still working on how to proceed with the project. They are still not decided whether they want to build up entire plant or sell piece of land just like that. They have already placed order for production equipment from a Chinese vendor but have delayed the delivery of equipment.
I’ll keep my readers posted in case there is any update about this AAC blocks factory.
